James Walter Shannon

James "Jim" Shannon, 76, of Belfair died Jan 28th at the Kitsap Hospice care center in Bremerton. Jim was born Jan 8, 1938 in Vandergirft, PA to John & Myrtle Shannon. He served in both the Navy Reserves & Army from 1958-1963. He enjoyed fishing, photography, writing, sculpting, painting and playing his guitar. He is survived by his brother - John Shannon, his children - Karl Stephenson, Tammie Stephenson & Carol Moses, 5 grandchildren - Sara Martinez, Joseph Stephenson, Nicole Neiffer, Austin Lacey & Cody Stephenson, 4 great -grandchildren - Andrew, Cierra, Casey & Maverick, a niece - Kathleen Wymer and nephew - Hans Gerwig. Jim was preceded in death by his spouse - Marie. Memorial donations can be sent to Hospice of Kitsap County. Cremation arrangements are with Rill's Life Tribute Center.
