James Shoemake

James Shoemake died May 8, 2002 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. James was born on November 18, 1945 in Bremerton, WA. to Boose and Myrtle (Gernander) Shoemake.He graduated from West High School in Bremerton, WA. in 1964.James served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam.He worked at Dick Vlist Motors for many years until 2001. Prior to that he worked with Santa Fe Railroad in California.James was a member of Saints Car Club of Port Orchard, WA.He is survived by his wife Carolyn Shoemake of Port Orchard, WA., his son Steven LeDoux of California, His brother Larry and wife Carol Shoemake of Bremerton, WA. and brother Alan Shoemake and companion Lori Huser of Port Orchard, WA. James was preceded in death by his brother Tom Shoemake.Memorial services will be held at Rill Chapel Saturday, May 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. and private family inurnment will be held at Sunset Lanes Cemetery.
