James Swann

James B. Swann, 75, a Port Orchard resident, died in Tacoma on December 13, 2008 of natural causes. He was born in Seattle, Washington on October 11, 1933 to Charles and Ruth (Greene) Swann. He graduated from South Kitsap HS in 1951.  James worked as a gasoline and diesel automotive mechanic and a truck driver for highway construction sites. He was a member of the National Street Machine Club and the Eagles; he was an avid model car collector, enjoyed motorcycles and cars of all types and knew the automotive world inside and out.  He is survived by his wife Wanda Collins; sons Perry Swann of (Elia) of Bremerton and John Swann of Port Orchard; daughter Durlene Zoller of Arlington and seven grandchildren Zachariah, Anthony, Michelle, Trevor and Elia Swann, Tiffany Jayne and Danielle Zoller.
