James William Ullstrom

James (“Jim”) William Ullstrom, 62, of Port Orchard, Washington, died at 4:50 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his Port Orchard home. He was born September 15, 1952 in Bremerton, Washington, to Bill and Lorna Ullstrom.
Jim is survived by his mother, Lorna Ullstrom; his sisters and brothers, Mary Pekich, Margaret Neighbors, John Ullstrom (JoAnn) and Richard Ullstrom; his nieces and nephews, Bill Bergin, Erin Pulse (Brian), Elizabeth Martin (Dave), Rachel Ullstrom, Noah Ullstrom; his grandniece Rebecca Pulse; and long time family friend Rev. Ernest Radcliffe.
Jim’s father, Bill Ullstrom, and a sister, Barbara Ullstrom, preceded him in his death.
Jim was an avid photographer and was the family historian, filming every family gathering and celebration. His profession was as a printer and that carried into his personal life. Jim had a print shop at home and printed calendars, bookmarks and greeting cards, among other things. He had a unique sense of humor and used both his photographs and sense of humor to produce original printed items. Jim had a photographic memory that family and friends relied on. He also loved music, especially Celtic music.
Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County , Seattle Cancer Care Alliance or a charity of your choice.
A memorial celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church in Port Orchard.
