James Williams

James O. Williams, 62, died at his residence in Port Orchard, Washington on March 18, 2001. He was born in Paris, Texas on November 15, 1938 to William & Allene (Goode) Williams. James graduated from Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, California in 1955. He married Beverly D. Kuster on December 29, 1967 in Bakersfield. She preceded him in death in 1999.Mr. Williams worked for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton for 26 years, retiring as a Pipefitter in November 2000. He served in the U.S. Air Force in 1955. James enjoyed computers and he was a sports enthusiast.Surviving are his mother Allene Williams of Bakersfield; sons Mark Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, T.J. Williams and Allen Williams, both of Port Orchard; daughters Robyn Brown of Port Orchard and Kathyleen Williams of Las Vegas; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Robby Gordon.Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 from 9:00am to Noon, followed by a Graveside Service at 1:00pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
