Janet M Grice

August 7, 1942 — March 6, 2023

Janet M. Grice was born on August 7th, 1942 in Bremerton, Washington. She grew up in Washington and Montana. Janet passed away on March 6th, 2023 in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Janet’s life revolved around family. She loved growing up on the farm in Montana with her grandmother Francis Logan. Later, she raised four boys while her husband served in the Navy. Janet loved watching her boys grow up. She also loved to celebrate birthdays and holidays with family, especially teaching her grandchildren to sing Christmas Carols.

Janet and her husband, Stanford Odell Grice ran ‘Hood Canal Homes’ and Janet also trained dogs and horses. She raised her colt, Stormy, and loved spending time riding horses with her husband. She was a member of the Backcountry Horseman Club of Washington. She loved attending Bazaars of Arts & Crafts and also cherished Women’s Bible Studies at their home church. Janet found peace spending time in her garden or out in nature.

Janet is survived by her sons: Jim, Donnell, John and Robert; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
