Janet L. Hayes was a strong, courageous, loving, giving, supportive and an all-around amazing woman who would help anyone in need. She was a loving mother and created too many fond memories to list on camping trips, at the beach, playing at casinos and any other activities that involved being with her family. Janet loved art – almost any kind. She would color or create unique flower arrangements while enjoying a variety of music; some of her favorites being Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Eric Clapton. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and second hand/antique shopping. Overall, if she was with the ones she loved, she was happy. Janet’s mission in life was to help… and to give her opinion whether you wanted it or not. She will be missed by many including her old Pomeranian Pockets and Mikey the ChiChi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Hayes. She is survived by her daughter, Keri Hayes of Gig Harbor, son Allen Hayes of Gig Harbor, sisters Linda Nelson of Port Orchard, Vivki Everdean of Belfair, and Patty Kyle of Port Orchard, and brother Bruce Newell of Nevada.
