Janet P. Yepez, 64, of Port Orchard, WA, met her beloved husband on the stairway to heaven so he could take her to a better place on March 26, 2009 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. Jan was born February 18, 1945 in Nassodox, VA to Clifton Henderson Parks and Eva Hall Pruitt. She grew up in Parsley, VA. In her mid twenties, she moved to California and met the love of her life, Trinidad John Yepez (II). As a navy wife, she traveled the world with John and the boys. They settled in Port Orchard where John retired. Jan worked at Banger Sub Base as a barber for a number of years. She loved to knit and make teddy bears. She was a member of the Red Hatters and Tops of Allyn and made many dear friends. Her husband preceded Jan in death. Survivors include sons Trinidad John III (TJ) and his wife Susie Tucker and sons John, James and Justin, of Port Orchard, and Ryan David, of Tacoma, WA; stepson John of CA; long time companion Jerald Frasier; brothers Greg and Berry Parks and Aunt Sue Brown all of Parsley, VA. and Sidney Ann Davis of Maryland. A special thanks to Dr. Ronald Reimer and Ridgemont Terrace. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, make donations to a charity of your choice. Service Friday, April 3, 2009, 2PM at Rill’s Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
