Janice Bunting

Janice Zina (Bagunaitz) Bunting passed away in her home July 26, 2008 at age 84. She was born on July 8, 1924 in Lithuania. She met her husband Daniel Paul Bunting in Germany in 1946 and they were married in Bamberg, Germany in 1947. Later that year, they moved to the Port Orchard area where they lived until 1966 when they moved to Allyn. She loved staying home and taking care of her family and pets. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and friend. Janice was a member of the North Shore Animal League. She is survived by her husband Dan; sons Timothy Bunting (Debbie) and James D. Bunting; daughter Dixie Smith (Jim); sister Gene Blistrabizne of Lithuania; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29th from noon to 5 PM and graveside service will be July 30 at 3:00 PM at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair. Donations in her name may be made to any animal charity.
