Janice Mccarty

Janice Lynn McCarty, 71, died at Life Care Center in Port Orchard on November 14, 2006. She was born July 10, 1935 in Everett, Washington to Chester & Laurel (Bailey) Day. She married Quinten D. McCarty on January 7, 1977 in Bremerton, Washington. He preceded her in death in 1990. Janice was a homemaker and worked as a Legal Secretary. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are sons Dennis Solway of Idaho and Michael (Lori) Fisch of Port Orchard; daughters Diana Crockett & Lori Clark, both of Port Orchard; brother Dennis (Terri) Day of Mukelteo, Washington; sisters Shannon (Gus) Tomaras and Sandra (Edward) Tetrick, both of Port Orchard; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandson Anthony Clark in 1990. A Family Gathering is planned for November 18, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the home of daughter Diana Crockett.
