Jay Mcginnis,

Jay De McGinnis, Jr., 29, died at his home in Olalla on August 6, 1999.  He was born on August 17, 1969 in Bremerton to Jay De & Louise Gaye (Phipps)McGinnis, Sr.  Jay was raised in Port Orchard and attended South Kitsap High School.  He married Lori Dean Nack on August 21, 1995 in Reno, Nevada.Mr. McGinnis worked for Bower Transportation for the last several years performing a variety of jobs including Warehouseman and Driver.  He was a coach for his daughter Brianna's, girls softball team the 'Breeze'.Survivors include his wife; daughters Brianna Louise and Jalyn Rose of the family home; his parents Jay De McGinnis, Sr. of Shelton and Louise Gaye McGinnis of Port Orchard; paternal grandparents Dode and Ruth McGinnis of Faith, South Dakota.There will be a gathering of family and friends on August 11, 1999 from 3:00 to 6:00PM at the home of Gaye McGinnis, 6810 Sidney Road SW, Port Orchard.
