Jean Eischens

Jean Louise Eischens, 69, died in Tacoma, Washington on January 2, 2006. She was born on July 26, 1936 in Greensfield, Wisconsin to Manford James & Edith Ann (Armbruster) Bailey. She graduated from South Kitsap Sr. High School in Port Orchard in 1954. Jean married Merlin "Buster" Eischens on September 21, 1958 in Port Orchard. He preceded her in death in 2005. Jean worked for 30 years as a Nursing Assistant at the Bel-Air Convalescent Center in Tacoma. She was very loving to her elderly patients and a very dedicated employee. Jean also served in the U.S. Army and was discharged November 29, 1961. Jean loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and loved to play cards. Surviving are son Mike (Lynn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters Barbara and companion Ed of Newark, California, Bonnie and husband Dick of Vancouver, Washington, Linda and companion Jim of Cayuga, New York, and Mary and husband Keith of Macy, Indiana; sister Delores (Don) of Federal Way, Washington; grandchildren Brian, Ed, Todd, Nathaniel, Jason, Andrew, Kevin, Jacob, Candy & Angel; and great-grandchildren Haley, Sanyissa, Leiyah, Dominic, Dylin. Funeral service Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard with visitation starting at 10:00 am until the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
