Jean Martin

Jean L. Martin, 79, of Port Orchard, Washington died April 25, 2001 at home. Jean was born December 18, 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ulysses A. Shipey and Vera A. Whittaker. Jean was preceded in death by her husband James in 1995.Jean was a Nurses Aid at Washington Veterans Home at Retsil, Washington for many years. She was a devoted family member and is survived by daughters Vera Hill and Victoria Grogan both of Port Orchard, Washington; sons Gordon Hill of Hillsboro, Oregon and Bill Martin of Port Orchard, Washington; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2001 from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Rill Chapel with graveside services held at 2:30pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
