Jean Walls

Jean M. Walls, 83 of Port Orchard, Washington died April 6, 2001 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. Jean was born January 14, 1918 in Seattle, Washington to Albert & Jennie (Holman) Moore.She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1936 & attended the University of Washington in 1939. Jean worked as a Registered Nurse for a period of time.Jean married Fred E. Walls in Bethel, Washington April 15, 1939. Mrs. Walls enjoyed gardening & was a member of the Port Orchard Yatch Club Commondears.Surviving is her husband; son Fred L. Walls of Boulder, Colorado; daughter Jackie (Walls) Thorn of Richland, Washington; 5 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death bybrothers Albert & Laurance Moore and sister Carrie Hoak.Funeral services will be April 12, 2001 11:00 am at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard with interment at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington.
