Jerry Bowdler

Jerry R. Bowdler, 72 of Port Orchard, died in Gig Harbor, Washington on September 23 2010. He was born June 3, 1938 in Jasper, Alabama to James & Elizabeth (Davidson) Bowdler. He graduated from Butte High School in Montana and received a football scholarship to Weber State. He married Maxine Buckman on August 11, 1962 in Couer d'Alene, Idaho. She preceded him in death.   Jerry worked as a Union Carpenter from the early 1960's to the mid 1990's. He also served in the U. S. Marine Corps. Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman.   Surviving are sons Mike (Trisha) Bowdler and Rob Bowdler, both of Port Orchard; sister Blossom Perry of Kalispell, MT; and two granddaughters Cassaundra & Tausha.   Funeral services will be in Butte, Montana.
