Jerry Bower

Jerry was born to DeWitt and Anna Bower (Cline) on June 29, 1937 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He passed from this earth at his home on November 19, 2011, having been preceded in death by his parents. Jerry graduated from South Kitsap High School, then spent four years in the US Army, where he served a tour in Germany. He worked as a custodian for the Central Kitsap School District, retiring from that position. Jerry is survived by his sister, Joann (Warren) Van Zee; his niece Cami Dombkowski; his nephew, Ken Van Zee; his great nieces, Heather Hontz (Erik) and Sarah Morley (Robert); his great great nieces and nephews, Sadie, Landon and Ashton Hontz, and Allison and Greyson Morley. Jerry was an avid reader, enjoyed “old” TV movies, and walked for several hours each day that the weather or health allowed. At his request, there will be no services.
