Jesse Steven Allaway, aged 41, passed away on October 12, 2024, in Belfair, WA. Born on March 3, 1983, in Tacoma, WA, Jesse was a devoted son, husband, father, and friend whose family was the center of his life.
Jesse served honorably in the Army from 2003 to 2006, a period during which he developed a foundation of discipline and commitment that would define his subsequent career achievements. After his military service, he embarked on a career at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), where he was frequently recognized for his outstanding performance. Jesse later achieved his dream job with Homeland Security as a Management Program Analyst, where his excellence continued to be acknowledged through numerous awards.
Beyond his professional life, Jesse was passionate about the outdoors and motorsports, including fishing, riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and quads. He cherished the time spent teaching his children various skills, from shooting a bow to driving a car and building various projects. An adept at creating spreadsheets, Jesse found joy in Excel, which he often used both at work and home. His leisure time often found him engaged in video games, a hobby that allowed him some relaxation.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Pamela Allaway; sister, Leslie Bykerk; wife, Tanya Allaway; stepdaughter, Jazmyne Sosinski; daughter, Cadence Allaway; son, Ryder Allaway; granddaughter, Sophia Sosinski; and nephews, Justin and Ryan Bykerk. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Allaway; grandfather, John Allaway; grandmother, Blanche Wescott; aunt, Sandi Bethel; and cousin, Jeremy Bethel.
Services to honor Jesse's life will be held at Rills Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA. The family suggests that contributions in Jesse’s memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause close to his heart. Rills Life Tribute Center is assisting the family during this difficult time.
