Joan L. "Jodi" Loftin, 69, of Bremerton, WA, died December 10, 2002, at Belmont Terrace in Bremerton.She was born August 18, 1933, in Seattle, WA, to Edwin and Esther (Bussard) Sheldon. Joan graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle in 1951. In 1970, Joan married Burtis Wayne Loftin in the chapel at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. They later divorced in the mid 1970's and he resides in Arizona.Joan worked as a bartender for 40 years. For the past 26 years she has worked at the Golden Star Restaurant in Bremerton.She enjoyed bingo, scratch tickets, sports, Christmas baking, and being with all her friends at work.Joan is survived by 4 sons, Doug and Mike Smith, of Bremerton, David Wilkins, of Spring Creek, NV, and Kenneth Shadle, of Bremerton; 3 daughters, Debbie Lincoln, of Bremerton, Linda Clifford, of Virginia, and Lori Tyson, of Silverdale, WA; 21 grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, J.T., Sara, Angel, Jason, Justin, Tasha, Joey, David, Kenny, Lani, Lisa, Monique, Danny, Bradley, Tony, Courtney, Michaela, Ashley, and Brian; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Jean Fisher, 2 granddaughters Jodi Michelle Lincoln and Brittany Renee Lincoln, and a sister Susan Baily.A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 16, 2002, 3:00PM, at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA.
