Joann Mcauliffe

Jan. 19, 1937 - Feb. 7, 2007 JoAnn who just celebrated her 70th birthday, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, February 7th at her home in Seabeck, WA, after a long courageous 4 year battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry McAuliffe; also her 5 children Maureen McAuliffe, Molly Bishop (Darin), Patrick McAuliffe, Tim McAuliffe, Janice LaHaye (Rick); and her beautiful grandchildren Daniel McAuliffe, Michael LaHaye, Melissa LaHaye, Gillian Bishop, Ryan Bishop, Erika McAuliffe, and Nikolas McAuliffe. JoAnn graduated from Lake Washington High School in 1954, then went on to get a BA degree from Washington State University in 1957. She lived a full happy life with lots of travels to Hawaii, Australia, China, and Mexico. JoAnn spent lots of fun times with her family and friends. She loved her times with her golf friends, some of her greatest times were on the golf course, and with her children and grandchildren. May the memories of JoAnn live forever in all our hearts. She was a beautiful woman who we will all miss. Yet we will cherish her inspiring actions as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A Memorial Service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Rill's Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave., Port Orchard, WA, with a reception following in Rill's Hospitality Room. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater Seattle, 192 Nickerson St., Suite 100, Seattle, WA 98109.
