John Baux

John L. Baux died October 19, 1998 in Olalla, WA.  He was born August 2, 1941 in San Antonio, TX to Jean and Alice Baux.  On Nov. 29, 1949 he married Esperanza Carrasco in San Francisco, CA.  John was in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1978, he was employed as an automated publishing technician in defense automated printing at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.  John was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the VFW Post #239, the Port Orchard Eagles, and the American Legion Post #149.  He loved to shrimp, crab and fish.  John also enjoyed bowling and cooking for family and friends.  He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Baux of Olalla, WA,  father Jean Baux of Redwood City, CA, son John Baux Jr., of Olalla, WA, son James Baux of New Orleans, LA, son Glenn Baux of Clemson, S.C., son Robert Baux of New Orleans, LA, son Brian Baux of Oakland, IA, brother Lenny Baux of Redwood City, CA, sister Jeanne Baux of Ukiah, CA, sister Jackie Thornton of Redwood Ctiy, CA, and 7 grandchildren.  Services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA on October 26, 1998 at 10:00 a.m.
