John Brown

Mr. John Lauren Brown, Age:58, of Port Orchard, Washington, died on August 26th, 2001 at the family home. He was born February 19, 1943 in Syracuse, New York to Earl and Mabine Brown.Mr. Brown served in the United States Navy for six years. He was a civil service employee through out most of his career. He moved to the Kitsap area in the late 70's and then began his employment at PSNS. He retired in 1991 on medical disibility.Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Susan Brown of the family home; four daughters, Megan Brown, Colleen Greer, Tammy Odermann, Dawna Trent; one son, Matt (John) Brown; two sisters; a stepmother and five grandchildren.A memorial service will be held in Mr. Brown's honor, Saturday, September 1st, at 11 A.M., at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. Arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home & Crematory.
