Skip Hutto 1942-2004 In loving memory of John "Skip" Hutto, who passed away June 7, 2004 at Providence Hospital, Seaside, Oregon. Skip was born February 8, 1942 in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and a few years later moved to Seattle. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1959 where he faithfully served his country during a time of war. After returning home, he married Sandy Burgess on August 6, 1971, and a few years later they started their family. Skip spent his life doing whatever he could for others. He took great pride in his large family, and in his later years could be found enjoying the company of his wife, and many children and grandchildren. Skip was 62 years old and is survived by his wife Sandy, 7 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren, his mother-in-law and two sisers, not to mention numerous friends who Skip considered "family". Two of the most important things to Skip were his family and being close to nature; it is fitting that his last days were spent at the ocean with those that he loved.
