John Karganilla

Mr. John Nebres Karganilla died on July 29, 2001 at the family residence in Olalla, Washington. He was born on June 9,1909 in the Philippine Islands to Agapito and Paula (Nebres) Karganilla.Mr. Karganilla married Florence Sandberg, and raised a family together. He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington as a Sheet Metal Worker.Mr. Karganilla loved gardening.He is survived by a son, Alan Karganilla of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Marcia Brooke of Vaughn, Washington; daughter, Belinda Cyr of Olalla, Washington. He also had two grandchildren.A Catholic Rosary will be held for Mr. Karganilla at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington, at 7 p.m. on August 1, 2001. There will be a viewing at that time.At the family's request, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.Arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel,Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home.
