John Macri

John Joseph Macri died March 15, 2003 at the Port Orchard Care Center. He was 76.He was born in Maratea, Italy April 11, 1926 to Joseph and Teresa (Leonbrund) Macri.He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attained rank of Ships Service Man B(Barber) Third Class.John was owner of John J. Macri Insurance, Inc. in San Jose, California for 20 years - retiring in 1985.He enjoyed golf, Sons of Italy and cooking.John is survived by 3 step-sons; 2 step-daughters; brothers - Bill Macri of Randolph, Massachusetts, Frank Macri of Hingham, Massachusetts; sister Lydia Gorman of Hingham, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by 1 step-son.Visitations will be held Thursday March 20, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday March 21, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Services will be held at Rill Chapel of Port Orchard, Washington on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to:Charity of Choice.
