John Main

John R. Main of Belfair, Washington died in Port Orchard, Washington October 22, 2004 due to complications of Dementia. He was 91. He was born April 8, 1913 in Olivet, Kansas to George and Mabelle (Bellamy) Main. John married Wilma (Higgins) Main April 4, 1938 in Shelton, Washington. She died in 1995. He was a carpenter/cabinet maker for 55 years - retiring in 1983. John enjoyed fishing, camping, Blue Grass Music, loved his Bible; was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America Local #1597. He was Baptist. John is survived by son - Kenneht Main (& wife, Barbara) of Chimacum, Washington; daughter - Myrna Scrivner (& husband, John) of Belfair, Washington; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife - Wilma (Higgins) Main, daughter - Sharon Blankenship, son - Tom Main. There will be a Gathering at the family home in Belfair from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on October 30, 2004.
