"His contagious smile would light up a room.
John Floyd Sanders lived a full life. He was born in Bismarck, ND on June 11th, 1933. But for the most part his home was Port Orchard, Wa. John, also known as Jack, had many passions: horseback riding, singing, playing the guitar, dancing & skiing. He had a big heart for a wide variety of critters big and small. That would include his kids and his grand-kids as well.
John served in the United States Navy, and after his honorable discharge his father passed of the family business known as Herb's Cabinet Shop. And later the business was passed on to his son John. The trade was also passed on to his younger son, Shaan. It shows that being a skilled craftsman runs in the family. John was also was a former volunteer firefighter for the South Kitsap Fire District (7).
On September 26th 2016, he passed away per his wishes in his home. John was preceded in death by his parents Herb and Hilda, by his brothers Mike and Stanley, his wife Cecelia, daughter Faith, and grandson Jim.
He is truly loved and missed by so many including his wife, Melody, his sister Harriet, his children Lorene, John, Missy, Shaan, and Katrina, his 11 grandchildren, as well as many other dear family members and friends"
