John Simpers

John L. Simpers, 54, of Tacoma, Washington died April 8, 2001 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. John was born September 11, 1946 in Walla Walla, Washington to Charles & Charlotte (Hill) Simpers.Mr. Simpers attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington where he graduated in 1965. He was in the Air Force from 1965 until 1969 he held the rank of Sergeant. John was a Postal Carrier with the US Post Office in Tacoma for 12 years. His interests were Photography and he was a Black Powder Enthusiast.John is survived by his mother Charlotte of Port Orchard; and was preceded in death by his father Charles and brother Arthur.Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14 3:00pm at Rill Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
