Joseph Raymond N. Cregier, known to his loved ones as Joe, suddenly passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 38 in Seattle, WA. He was born on April 8, 1985, in Bremerton, WA. Joe was a beloved individual who touched the lives of many with his loving nature, but had many struggles in his life.
Joe possessed a spirited and adventurous soul, very artistic in many ways expressing creativity through his drawings and landscaping. He had an infectious sense of humor and found joy in watching classic action movies such as Star Wars or engaging documentaries, often coaxing his loved ones to join him in these cinematic journeys.
Joe received his primary education at Olalla Elementary and later attended South Kitsap High School. Throughout his career, Joe showcased his exceptional talents while working at his father’s landscape supply store. As a remarkable salesman, he effortlessly connected with customers, and his expertise extended to operating excavators, delivering products, and contributing to various landscaping projects. Joe’s thirst for exploration led him to embark on cross-country journeys, traversing vast landscapes behind the wheels of 18-wheelers, accompanied by his cherished family. These adventures allowed him to witness the breathtaking beauty of our nation.
Joe found solace and spiritual guidance in his faith throughout his life. He sang in the choir at Adventure of Faith Church in Pt Orchard in his youth and cherished the summers spent at Black Lake Bible Camp when he was young, where he embraced his faith and accepted Christ as his savior. Later in his life he struggled with mental illness and addiction but still found comfort reading his bible and in songs of worship.
Sports played a significant role in Joe’s life, and he had a deep passion for baseball and football. He actively participated in these sports during his youth, leaving behind cherished memories and a love for the game.
A memorial service, honoring Joe’s life and celebrating the joy he brought to those around him, will be held on August 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Adventure of Faith in Port Orchard, WA. Joe’s memory will forever be treasured by his family, and friends. He leaves behind his children: Hannah and Grace, Mikey, Tyler, and Lexi; the mother of his children Jenny McLain; his parents Chuck Cregier and Jane Nelsen and his loving sister Alicia and brother-in-law Brenden Dueck, nieces and nephew; Isabel, Gabriel, and Anna.
