Joseph Hegg

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, father uncle, and friend Joseph Hegg. He joined his parents, John and Crucita, his sister Dolly, his two nephews, Todd and Jimmy and other beloved family and friends in Heaven on April 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife Lisa, Daughter Kaylee, sons Melicio and Zechariah, as well as his siblings Georgia, Mike, John, and David. He also leaves behind three precious granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

At the age of 58, Joe was battling ailments that would break many down. From bone marrow cancer to pneumonia, chemotherapy and other medical crises, but he was determined to get stronger for his grandchildren; unfortunately it was too much for his heart in the end. He passed away quietly and unexpectedly at home.
Joe moved to Washington in 1972 and spent time in South Kitsap School district.
His passions were fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and having adventures with his kids, wife and grandkids.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held Sunday, May 5th at 12:30pm to 5pm at the Bob Oake Long Lake Community Building
