Joy E Nesseth Passed away on May 5th, 2018 at Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton, WA. After Struggling with a long illness.
She was born on March 16th, 1936 to Bea and Jim Vandeberg in Culbertson, Montana. Joy was raised on a farm in Bainville, Montana.
Joy was very proud of being raised on a farm. Many relatives and friends lived and farmed close by.
She married Murel P. Nesseth in February 1958, together they had two sons Brad J (Monica) Nesseth and Randy M. Nesseth. She is survived by three grandchildren Christopher M, Joshua J. and Ryan D.P. Nesseth. Joy’s sister Deann (Vandeberg) Larson, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Joy worked for Bell Telephone before moving to Port Orchard. There her first job was working in a bakery. Then she spent several years at Kitsap County Bank. Eventually becoming the Branch Manager at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard branch. After that she was a Kitsap County Superior Court Bailiff until the age of 72.
Joy loved family gatherings and spending time with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
