Joyce Elaine Figueroa De Raschke

Joyce Elaine Figueroa De Raschke, 55, of Port Orchard, WA died January 5, 2013 at her home. She was born April 1, 1957 in Bremerton, WA to Joseph and Delia Showalter. Joyce served her community in various roles in the Kitsap County government for over 20 years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and gave a lot of her time to her dogs and horses. Joyce was an avid crafter enjoying knitting, making jewelry, and crocheting. She belonged to the Knitters Guild of Kitsap County and was a board member of the Kitsap County Domestic Violence Task Force. She is survived by her husband Wayne; children Amanda (Josh) Hendricks, Kevin (Lexi) Raschke, and Dwayne (Maria) Porteous; mother Delia (Lee) Fine and stepmother Evelyn Showalter; grandchildren Skyler, Tristin, Noah, Logan, Ayden, and Alejandro; sisters Sheila Bars and Barbara Showalter; brother Tony (Vicki) Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her father and a sister. Services will be 4PM, Saturday, January 12 at Charleston Baptist Church in Bremerton.
