In Loving Memory

Joycelyn Aguon Cruz, age 72, passed away peacefully in her home on November 3rd, 2022. Joycelyn has begun her journey to be with Our Heavenly Father. She was born September 28th, 1950, in Guam. She worked and attended college for some time in her life, but once she became a mother to her 3 children Brian, Andria, and Brent Rosier she decided to be a homemaker. She loved being a mother and enjoyed all her time that they had spent together.

Joycelyn loved to cook, bake, sew, embroider, and draw. But most importantly she loved God, spending time with family and loved ones, laugh, eat, and have a good time. Her favorite foods were Chamorro food and all types of deserts. She loved her sweets. Family was very important to Joycelyn, and she always prayed for all of us and made sure that we knew she loved us.

A funeral service is being held on November 18th, 2022, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Rill Chapel. The Rosary begins at 12:30 – 1:00 PM, Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM and reception to follow at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Services will be live streamed on the Parish’s webpage.
