Judy L. Baker, 68, of Port Orchard, died unexpectedly June 20th of complications from surgery.
She was born in Torrance, California and came to Port Orchard in 1976.
She had worked for many years as a server at The Sting Tavern in Port Orchard, a ski maker at K2 and a food demonstrator at Costco.
She loved ballroom dancing at Winter Club, roller coasters, yard sales with her friend Betty Mueller, cribbage, iPad games, afternoon judge TV shows, Janet Evanovich books, ScyFy and Chiller on TV, and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Travis; daughters Ronda Armstrong of Lake Symington and Wendy Williams of Greensborough, N.C.; stepchildren Eric Baker of Tacoma and Beth Toledo of Port Orchard; grandchildren Tiea Christensen (Steven) of Lake Symington, Zachary Sherrodd of Virginia, Amanda Pierce of Oklahoma, Marena Baker-Thompson of Tacoma; and several great-grandchildren including Lucas Christensen for whom she often babysat.
A celebration of her life will be Friday, June 26th at 11 a.m. at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
