Julia Grimshaw

Julia E. Grimshaw, 87 of Port Orchard, died June 3, 2008. She was born August 29, 1920 in Bijou Hills, SD to John & Stella (Mace) Burger. She attended school in SD and married George R. Grimshaw in South Dakota on February 11, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1971. Julia worked in Real Estate Sales at Soriano's in Bremerton, retiring in the 1980's. She also worked as a waitress and sales clerk. She was a member of First Lutheran Community Church in Port Orchard. Surviving are daughter Dixie (Gary) Douthit of Port Orchard; grandchildren Julie (Leo) Gleason, Jayna (Lonnie) Hanson & Heather White; and great-grandchildren Ron Johnson, Heidi (Shane) Scheibner, Erynn Hanson, Tim Gleason & Devin Hanson. Two Great Great Grandchildren Ryan & Hailee Scheibner. She was preceded in death by son Gary, sisters Lillian Witt, Alice Mashek & Grace Cowin; and brothers Grant & Fred (Fritz). Memorial service 2:00 pm on June 16 2008 at First Lutheran Community Church, 2483 Mitchell Road, Port Orchard. Inurnment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremerton.
