June Pilling

June Louise Pilling was born Nov. 5, 1919 to Simeon and Wevee Melvin in Spokane, WA.   She was raised in Seattle and Bremerton, WA.  She graduated from Lincoln High School and business college in Seattle, WA.,  June was a homemaker and a member of the Royal Neighbors as well as being a CCD teacher at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.  June was preceded in Death by her husband Frank G. Pilling.  She is survived by her son Kerry Pilling of Port Orchard, daughter Wevee Lawing of Port Orchard, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Memorial donations can be made to South Kitsap Helpline, 1770 Village Lane, Port Orchard, WA 98366.  Services are at Rill Chapel at 11:00 am on Dec. 10, 1998.  Interment is at Fraola Cemetery.  Arrangements were by Pendleton Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
