Karla Robinette-Brusco, 52, of Port Orchard, went to be with the Lord April 16th. She was born September 17, 1956 in Dallas, Tx to Mason & Beverly Rothenborg. Karla lived in Hawaii on the island of Oahu many years and eventually became known as ’TuTu’ which is Grandmother in Hawaiian. In 1979 she married her first husband Mark Robinette they later divorced and Karla married Fred Brusco on July 28, 2007 in Port Orchard. Karla was a well known and very first waitress at Uncle Dave’s Café in Port Orchard helping to open the doors 17 years ago. She had the biggest heart and love for animals and could often be heard talking about her girls and stinky little boys. Karla is survived by her husband, Fred Brusco; parents, Mason & Beverly Rothenborg of Port Ludlow; 2 daughters, Amber (Huero) Herrera & Crystal (Daniel) Landeros of Port Orchard; a brother Kyle Rothenborg of Honolulu, Hi; 3 Grandchildren Daniel-Kai, Diego, Santiago and first husband Mark Robinette. A Celebration of Life will be 3pm Saturday April 25 at the Christian Life Center in Port Orchard. Cremation arrangements are with Rill’s Life Tribute Center.
