Karleen Kay Herring, 79, of Port Orchard, died October 21st at Franciscan Hospice House in Tacoma. Karleen was born January 3, 1933 in Spokane to Raleigh & Dorothy Harris. She attended King’s Garden High School and graduated in 1952. On January 10, 1958 she married Robert Herring in Portland, Or. Karleen was a homemaker and a member of the Port Orchard Church of the Nazarene for 35 years. Survivors include her husband Robert, 2 daughters – Deanna (Larry) Grable of Port Orchard and Dorothy (Miguel) De la Iglesia of Burien, a brother David Harris of Beaverton, Or., 3 grandchildren Michelle, Jamie and Jeremy and two great grandchildren Anthony & Kodi. Memorial Services will be 2pm Saturday November 3rd at Manchester Community Church. Private burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in care of Rill’s Life Tribute Center.
