Kathryn Dubbe

IN LOVING MEMORY OF:
Kathryn Marilyn Johnson Dubbe was born in Finley, North Dakota on September 18, 1928 to Hjalmar H. Johnson and Anna C. Olson, attended public school in Finley and then Swedish Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While working at Fort Harrison VA Hospital in Helena, Montana she met her husband to be, Alfred, on a blind date resulting in a marriage lasting 66 years. The last 15 years of her nursing career was spent working in a hospital emergency room in Alexandria, Virginia. She is survived by her four sons, Dan (Patricia), Kurt (Colleen), Erik (Della), Matt (Catherine) and daughter Tana (James), twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her husband Alfred of 66 years, and her two brothers Edward (Jeanette) and Wallace (Sheila). Her most cherished accomplishments are raising a family of five children, her love of gardening, cooking, and visual and designer arts, her profession as a Registered Nurse and being a highly interesting person as well as a devoted parent and friend. Kathryn’s family and loved ones will miss her dearly.
