Kay Stockwell

Kay Stockwell, 76 of Port Orchard, joined her Heavenly Father in his Kingdom on Saturday, August 30, 2014. Kay Elmer Stockwell was born on February 23, 1932 in Mesa, Arizona to Rhoda Lois and William Raymond Elmer. Kay was the youngest of four, and a graduate of high school in Mesa, Arizona.
Kay married Royce Milton Stockwell June 20, 1955. She was a Navy wife, homemaker and mother to four sons. Mark (Gretchen), Charles (Lily), Harold (Melarie), and Gary (Wanda). She also leaves 13 Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Upon Royce's retirement, they made Port Orchard there home.
Kay was a member of Givens Senior Center, Egg Artist of Puget Sound, Eastern Star, Orchard Heights Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kay traveled extensively.
Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, September 4, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1550 Hoover SE, Port Orchard. Graveside committal will be 11:30 am Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
Remembrances in Kay's memory may be made to the American Lung Association of Easter Seals.
