Kaye Kimple

Kaye Irving Kimple, 69 of Bremerton, Washington, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton on March 17, 2001. He was born in Bremerton on June 25, 1931 to Chester & Elsie (Martin) Kimple. He graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1949 and Western Washington University in Bellingham in 1959. Kaye married Elizabeth Cayabyab in the Philippines on March 22, 1996.Mr. Kimple worked for 25 years as a Teacher at Bremerton Middle School, retiring in 1989. He was previously employed as a Parole Officer in Seattle. Kaye served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Seargent from 1950 to 1954. He enjoyed scuba diving and working with children.Surviving are his wife Elizabeth; sons Andy Kimple of Port Orchard, Chet Kimple of Bremerton, Greg Kimple of Renton, Jayson Dizon of Philippines, Sam Mersai of California, Neil Rengiil of Guam, and Teizi Mersai of Renton, Washington; daughters Eli Mow of Bremerton, Raeanne Kimple of Bremerton, Joan Dizon & Jenalyn Dizon, both of the Philippines; brother Tom Kimple of California; sisters Doris Horne & Judy Kasler, both of Port Orchard; and 7 grandchildren.Visitation is at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 22, 2001 at 1:00pm at Rill Chapel with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
