Keith Hale

Mr. Keith Douglas "K.C." Hale died on March 5, 2002 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 38 years old.K.C. was born on July 26, 1963 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Thomas and Glenda(McKenner)Hale. On November 18, 1989 K.C. married Maria C.Lafazia in Bremerton. K.C. spent over twenty years working as a Carpenter. He loved playing guitar, and writing poetry. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sinclair View Ward.K.C. is survived by his wife, Maria, of the family home; daughters, Amy and Sheena Avila, and Kayleigh Hale of Port Orchard; sons, Bo and Casey Hale of Port Orchard; parents, Thomas and Glenda Hale of Basin, Wyoming; brothers, Tom Hale of Three Forks, Montana, and William Hale of Port Orchard; and sister, Shandra Hale of Red Lodge, Montana. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Avila, and brother, Jeff Hale.Visitation for K.C. is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2002 from 3-5 p.m., at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2002 at 1:00 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Belfair, Washington. Interment will follow at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair.The family has requested that any memorial donations be sent to The Ronald McDonald House, 5000 40th Ave.N.E., Seattle, WA, 98105.All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard.
