Kennen John Ahl, 45, died of a stroke at his home in Port Orchard on August 20, 2008. He was born September 20, 1962 in Bremerton. Kennen worked for the Inactive Fleet in Bremerton, starting at the bottom and becoming Director of the Fleet, which took him coast to coast to check on his inactive ships. His life passion was his work and he was so proud of working for the fleet. He met so many people around the US and they became his friends & co-workers. Kennen liked to cook, becoming a gourmet cook. He also liked growing flowers in his later years. He would tinker with his stepfather's old cars to keep them running, taking them for a spin. He was really a "Jack of all trades" and there was nothing he couldn't do or figure out how to do. Surviving are mother Delores Hudson; brother Kevin John Ahl; uncle & aunt Will & Kathleen Payseno, all of Port Orchard; Aunt Murleen "Ahl" Geise of Electric City along with his 3 cousins in the same area Chuck Giese, Steve Giese & Shannon (Bryan) Peterson; stepbrother Lenny Hudson of Moses Lake; step sisters Kelly Hawkins of Gig Harbor & Laurie (Devon) Kong of Burley, WA; cousins Laurie Humphrey of Rapid City, SD, Greg (Jill) Payseno, Cliff Payseno, Gary (Shelly) Payseno, Delynn Ecklund, all of Port Orchard, Gordon (Jennifer) Payseno of Renton, WA, Glen (Dana) Payseno & Julie (Jim) Morgan of Tacoma & many, many cousins; and very best life time friend Gordy Griebel of Port Orchard.
