Kenneth Deidrich Helm, 92, died in Port Orchard, WA on October 5, 2011. He was born September 26, 1919 in Fort Collins, CO to Deidrich & Bessie (Turner) Helm. He married Arlene Persinger in 1973 in Loveland, CO and she preceded him in death in 2008. Kenneth worked as a Machinist at Boeing, retiring in 1960. After retirement he worked for several companies including Tacoma Boat & Leanders Research as a Machinist and also had his own business in car sales in Sitka, AK. Kenneth was a Merchant Marine in the forties. Kenneth was a proud grandfather and liked dancing, fishing & health research. He was a member of the Port Orchard Seventh-Day Adventist Church and enjoyed his church family. He is survived by son Dennis Happy of Port Orchard; daughter Blanche (Norman) Kidd of Prosser, WA; grandchildren Lee, Shawn & Kimberly Kidd and Brenda Clarke; great-grandchildren Colette & Alexia Kidd, Matthew, Calvin & Bradley Clarke; great-great-grandchildren Branden & Jace Clarke; and 3 surviving nieces. Memorial Service at 2:00 pm on October 15, 2011 at Port Orchard Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 5000 Bethel Road SE.
