Kenneth H. Lind died July 26, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 82.He was born December 15, 1920 in Olalla, Washington to Hans and Myrtle (Pedersen) Lind.He married Dorothy (Hanson) Lind.Kenneth graduated from Chimacum High School in Chimicum, Washington in 1939.He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He attained rank of Tec 5; and, served under General Patton.Kenneth was a foreman in Shop 06 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard . . . retiring in 1972.He worked at the Sons of Norway in Bremerton for 23 years; was a member of VFW #2669; enjoyed fishing, R.V.ing, and Norwegian Rose Maling (type of painting).Kenneth is survived by his daughter - Debbie Paulsen (& husband, Karl) of Akrehamn, Norway; sister - Bernice Matheson (& husband, Bill) of Port Hadlock, Washington; grandson - Max Paulsen of Norway; cousins (4): Melvin Medford of Port Hadlock, Washington; Betty Swift (& husband, Walter) of Seattle, Washington; Karen Pedersen of Seattle, Washington; and, Reynard Tuttle (& wife, Margaret) of Lynnwood, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at the Sons of Norway Lodge in Bremerton, Washington on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.Memorial Donations may be made to:Harrison Memorial HospitalOncology Dept.2520 Cherry Ave.Bremerton, WA 98310
