Kenneth Douglas Walters died August 26, 2007 from injuries in a motorcycle accident near Missoula, Montana. He was born to Melvin D. & Neva M. Walters in Bremerton, Washington on August 14, 1950. After graduating from Central Kitsap High School in 1968, he began a career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as an electronics apprentice and retired in 2005 as a Business Agent. He enjoyed traveling, especially on his Harley Davidson. His love for motorcycles was renewed during his many trips to San Diego for work. After retirement he planned and went on several cross country motorcycle trips. He made friends everywhere he went and was always good at keeping in touch. He liked to garden, chop wood, and loved listening to music of all kinds. He was fond of sailing, hiking, camping, and skiing. He loved and will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Juli of the family home in Brownsville; son Mason of Kitsap Lake; daughters Allison of Suquamish and Ann of Silverdale, and her son Cole. He also leaves a brother Jeff of Moses Lake and a sister Kay C. Simcic of Wildcat Lake; parents of Belfair; a niece; and several nephews. Memorial Service at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
