Kenneth A. Willford, 92 of Tacoma, Washington died at Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, Washington on March 20, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 3, 1916 in Curtis, Nebraska. He married Joyce Palmer in November 1941 and recently celebrated 66 years of marriage together. Kenneth served in both the Army and the Marine Corps. After his service in World War II, Kenneth became a Carpenter with the San Francisco Local 22 Union, building houses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He was an avid pilot and owned a small ranch in Livermore California. After his retirement, he moved to Tacoma Washington and had resided there for 30 years. Surviving are his wife Joyce; daughter Mardelle and granddaughter Debra.
