Kerri Anne Rivers

Kerri Anne Rivers was born May 29, 1990 in Riverside, CA, and went to be with her Heavenly Father in January 2022. She spent her early years in Kailua, HI, and 29 Palms, CA. She came to Port Orchard in 1993 where she attended local schools. In 2008 Kerri graduated high school in Port Orchard, WA, and took college classes at Olympic College and Liberty University. She is the beloved daughter of Rob & Wanda Rivers. From early childhood, Kerri was very sweet, generous and kind to everyone she met. She had a special heart for those who were alone, different or handicapped and would pray for others when an ambulance with flashing lights went by. One time in a hotel in Hawaii, she looked out the window and saw a lady using sign language by the pool. She rushed out the door and went down to the pool to talk to the lady using what little ASL Kerri knew, just to be kind to her. She had a love of fishing with her grandpa and dad, and enjoyed playing softball and soccer. God blessed her with a beautiful voice and she sang in the church choir. She was blessed with musical talents and took piano lessons for quite a while before we realized she had a vision problem and couldn’t read a note. She played by ear and from memory. Kerri is survived by her parents, a sister, Robyn (Jonny), and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Wednesday February 16th at 11:00 A.M. Services will be live streamed on Kerri’s online memorial page at www.rill.com for those who can not attend in person.
