Kimberly Elizabeth Cohen

April 2, 1985 — November 10, 2014

Kimberly Cohen, 29, of Port Orchard was granted her angels wings on Monday, November 10th in her home. Kim's life may have seemed too short for many, but for those who were touched by her presence understood that the quality of her existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which she lived. Words that describe her life: Kind Hearted, Loving, Caring, Funny, Bossy, Compassionate, Amazing, Thoughtful, Loveable, Loyal, Vibrant and Strong. Her beautiful smile and caring personality brought so much joy to everyone who knew her.

Kim was born on April 2, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated from high school. She moved to Washington in her teens where she met the love of her life and husband, John Cohen. They were married in 2006 and purchased their first house in Port Orchard where they began to live out their dream together. Kim's favorite place to spend time was at her grandma's property in Long Beach, WA. Kim was passionate about hiking, riding ATV's, camping and loved to be surrounded by the most important people in her life: her family, loyal and supportive friends and her (kids) dogs Boxer, Zeus: Chihuahua, Spike and Dachshund, Lucky.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, John Cohen; father, Bob Lick; step mother, Lisa Lick, mother, Dawn Wolters; brother Bryant Lick; brother Jason Lick; grandma, Nyna Wolters, mother-in-law, Margaret Cohen; brother-in-law, Rob Cohen; sister-in-laws: Francie Cohen, April Nutsford, Amy McCann and husband Shawn McCann; and Jorge Nutsford; nieces and nephews: Daymon Cohen, Sabrena Cohen, Haley McCann, Hannah McCann, Corey Nutsford and Taylor Nutsford.
