Kristen Dianne Huebert

Kristen was born on January 27, 1977, the third daughter of Robert and Dianne Huebert. Kristen grew up in Port Orchard, attending Our Lady Star of the Sea School, Cedar Heights Junior High and graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1995.

Kristen held a variety of jobs throughout her life, but enjoyed being a homemaker more than anything. She had a green thumb and always had an abundant garden that she was incredibly proud of. Kristen was a talented pianist and flautist. Her ability to listen to a piece of music and then play it perfectly was a gift that stunned her music teachers and caused her sisters to quit playing out of frustration at how easily music came to her. Some of Kristen’s favorite times were being out in the woods and fishing with her dad.

Kristen enjoyed helping Justin raise his daughters and considered them her “bonus” children. She was always willing to help them in whatever endeavor they embarked upon and loved them unconditionally. Her beloved “fur baby” Chloe was a source of joy for Kristen and brought her immeasurable happiness.

Kristen passed away on December 16, 2020 at St. Michael’s Medical Center of an undiagnosed heart issue. Her death was sudden and unexpected and a reminder to us all to live life to the fullest and never take anything or anyone for granted. Kristen was preceded in death by her father, Robert, grandparents, John and Johnnie Brockliss and Henry and Anna Huebert and uncles Hank Huebert and John Brockliss.

Kristen is survived by her partner of 17 years, Justin Harmon and his daughters Taylor and Kasey; her mother Dianne, sisters Kim (Luther) and Lori (Ryan); nephew Tyler, nieces Mekenzie (Matt), Megan (Cole), Madison and Sammantha, great-niece, Paisley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to Covid, a celebration of Kristen’s life will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association in Kristen’s name.
