Lane Talmadge

Lane Andrew Talmadge, 23 of Lakewood, died in Tacoma December 5, 2009. He was born March 1, 1986 in Tacoma to Tobias & Dianna (Dike) Talmadge. He attended Bremerton High School and graduated from Curtis High School in University Place in 2007. Lane worked as a custodian with Harris Training Facility and with Erickson & McGovern. He enjoyed his friends & family, Special Olympics, Gladd Dances, Metro Park recreation activities, theatre, movies, music, puppet shows, & trips and outings with best friend, Doug DeLeon.  Lane's friends and family meant the world to him.  Surviving are his mother Dianna Talmadge of Lakewood; father Tobias Talmadge of Phoenix, Arizona; brother Lance (Amanda) and nephew Cade Talmadge of Henderson, Kentucky; grandparents Shirlie Dike of Manchester & Juanita Talmadge of Port Orchard; aunts Piggy, Cheri, Cathy, Andrea; uncles Timmy & Marty.  Special people include Jason, Edward, Kiki, and many, many others. Preceded in death by grandfathers Glenn Dike & Henry Talmadge, uncle Timothy Talmadge & great-grandmother Hila Whitson. Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at South Colby Methodist Church with a Graveside Service to follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard. Memorial donations may be made to Metro Parks Foundation honoring Lane Talmadge, South Park Community Center, 4851 S. Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA 98409.
